CPFD WINS STATEWIDE AWARD

The Cedar Park Fire Department was named the 2006 Top EMS First Responder Organization in Texas by the Texas Department of State Health Services at the Texas Emergency Medical Services Conference in Dallas on Nov. 21. The department was nominated for the award by Williamson County EMS.
“The fire department is such an essential part of Cedar Park's quality of life. I'm extremely proud of the department and the fact that the city is recognized among so many other outstanding departments as the very best. I think we all rest a little easier knowing what an outstanding fire department we have here in Cedar Park,” Mayor Bob Lemon said.
