WATER PARK IN CEDAR? MAYBE...

A water park may be coming to Cedar Park. That's what was presented to the Cedar Park City Council Thursday at the council's last scheduled meeting of the calendar year.
Rick Redmond, owner of the Volente Beach Water Park, presented his plan that would have a giant water park opening by the summer of 2008. Accompanying the project would be a 300-room hotel with 9,000 square feet of meeting space. Also in the project are separate buildings that would have 25,000 square feet of meeting space that could hold dinner banquets upwards of 500 people.
