TREE RECYCLING
Full Description:
After a month in the living room, that formerly lush, beautifully decorated and sweet-smelling tree is now just a dried up eyesore. What to do with it? The City of Cedar Park wants you to put it to good use and recycle it!
Beginning at 9 am until noon on Saturday, Jan. 6 in the City Hall parking lot, 600 N. Bell Blvd., the Parks & Recreation Department will take your tree and chip it for mulch to be used for city landscaping projects. A free seedling will be given away for each recycled tree, while supplies last. Please remove all decorations, lights and stands from trees prior to recycling.
